About the Event
Moving Forward – October 4th
💛 I’m genuinely looking forward to hosting Moving Forward, a one-day event designed especially for women navigating life after separation or divorce. Register online!
Why this event matters
If you’re a woman finding your way after separation or divorce, you know how overwhelming it can feel — the constant questions, the tough decisions, the “what now?” moments.
That’s why I created Moving Forward: a safe and supportive space where women can come together to feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Throughout the day, you’ll:
Learn from incredible professionals who share practical tools and guidance.
Focus on your own well-being through reflection and gentle practices.
Connect with women in a confidential, safe space who truly understand what you’re going through.
This day is about more than information — it’s about insight, connection, and encouragement as you take steps into your next chapter.
Guest Presenters
Ashley Breland – Boundaries with Compassion
Ashley is a social work therapist and the owner of Breland Counselling & Consulting. With expertise in trauma, body acceptance, and life transitions, she is passionate about helping people navigate change with resilience and self-compassion.
I’ve had the privilege of working with Ashley personally, and her wisdom around boundaries was life-changing for me. She has a way of meeting people exactly where they are, guiding them with empathy and clarity. Ashley reminds us that boundaries aren’t selfish — they’re what create safety, trust, and deeper relationships.
Demi Peters – Clarity in the Divorce Process
Demi brings more than nine years of experience as a mediator and over a decade in the separation and divorce space. At Panko Collaborative Law and Mediation, she helps families transition peacefully using non-adversarial approaches such as Collaborative Divorce and Mediation.
She believes separation doesn’t need to be financially or emotionally devastating — instead, it can mark the hopeful beginning of a new chapter. At Moving Forward, Demi will share insights on:
Simplifying the divorce process
Parenting, property division, and financial support
Family Early Dispute Resolution: options and processes
Q&A session
This is your chance to gain clarity and confidence as you plan your next steps.
Carla Unger – EFT for Emotional Healing
Carla is a certified EFT Practitioner, Emotional Growth Coach, and keynote speaker passionate about guiding people toward inner healing and authentic change.
At this event, she’ll lead us through an EFT tapping experience — a gentle but powerful practice for releasing emotional blocks, easing stress, and restoring balance. Carla’s message is simple yet profound: moving forward isn’t about perfection; it’s about finding peace and joy even in life’s messiness.
Hilary Maughan – Rebuilding Self-Belief
Hilary draws on her background in finance and her deep personal development experience to help women reshape their self-image and build unshakable belief. Her grounded presence and energy inspire lasting transformation.
Hilary’s story is one of resilience and renewal, and she shares it as a reminder that no matter where you are, it’s always possible to move forward with strength and clarity.
